Taxis are a common sight on St. Thomas, being a very popular, quick and efficient mode of transport for visitors.  They are easy to find at almost all hotels, and if there isn't one waiting you can ask the front desk to call one for you.  They are also available at taxi stands, at the ferry and cruise ship docks, and at the Cyril E. King Airport.  East End has its own taxi company, the aptly named East End Taxi, which serves the East End area of the island.  East End Taxi's head quarters are found at the Red Hook Ferry Dock in East End.  They are available 7 days a week and also have a convention service which can carry a large number of people at the same time.
